May the joy of the angels,
the eagerness of the shepherds,
the perseverance of the wise men,
the obedience of Joseph and Mary,
and the peace of the Christ child be yours this Christmas.

And the blessing of God almighty,
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
be upon you and remain with you always. Amen.

O Lord, bless those who bless you
and hallow those who put their trust in You.

Save Your people and bless Your inheritance.
Guard the fullness of Your Church.

Sanctify those who have greeted in love
the beauty of Your house.

Glorify us with your divine power
and forsake not those who put their trust in You.

Grant peace to the whole world,
to churches, to priests, to Christian rulers,
to the Armenian Church, to the Republic of Armenia
and to their armed forces,
and to all Your people.

For all good gifts and all perfect bounties
come down from heaven from You,
the Father of light;
and to You is befitting glory, dominion and honor
now and always and unto the ages of ages. 

Amen.

Dear God

Dear God,
We are grateful for this wonderful gift of life that you have blessed us with. 

It is ripe with chances and choices we can make with it. 

The many things we can learn. 

The awe-inspiring sights we can see. 

The delightful sounds we can hear. 

The different people we can meet. 

There are many beautiful things in this life you have given, along with its many paths that we can travel.

We are alive with the will to think and act and we thank you for such a blessing.

Prayer of Hope

A Prayer of Hope

Lord Jesus, I pray this day for strength, because there are times when things get tough and I feel like quitting.

Lord Jesus, I ask this day for the comforting reassurance of Your love, because there are times when people fail me, and I am tempted to lose hope.

Lord Jesus, I seek this day for Your light to guide my steps, because there are times when life is confusing and difficult, and I lose my way.

Help me, O Lord, to pick up the pieces, wipe my tears, face the sun, and start over again, for all is possible when I place my faith and trust in You, my Saving God.

Amen.

Heavenly Father

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Heavenly Father,

I thank You for loving me. I thank You for always protecting me from evil and carrying me in the palm of Your hands. I thank You for all the blessings You have given me in my earthly life.

I know I get weak at times and I allow the enemy to creep in with doubt and fear. During these times, Father, help me to resist the temptation. Please guide my every step so that I am transformed. Help me to renew my mind and to stay strong with positive thoughts as I get closer and closer to You.

Father, I can do nothing without Your grace. No matter how much I plan or I worry, nothing will happen without Your will. I trust that You always have my higher good in mind. So, I thank You for helping and strengthening me to move forward with the decisions I have to make each day.

Father, I thank You for the new beginning You have granted me. I have faith that You will keep me healthy as I let go of past feelings and thoughts of fear and guilt. Help me to surrender my life to You. Please give my joy back and fill my heart with determination, trust, faith and love.

Father, also grant me the grace to walk in Your shoes. Help me to be a blessing to others and to serve without complaining so that I am worthy of Your protection. 

I pray this in Jesus’ name, AMEN!
