A Prayer for Peace

Dear Lord,
Our world is in such turmoil. Guide us to live in harmony with one another. Remind us that peace and understanding are the keys that open the door to salvation. I pray that you will heal our hearts and mend the conflicts that are ongoing. Despite where we live and what we look like, we are all brothers and sisters. Whether we are Christian, Muslim, Jew, or Buddhist we are all your children.
I pray in Jesus name,

Kind Father, we look at the example of Jesus as we read about You. As your son, He not only taught us how to live, but modeled what it means to be Your child. We want to live the way Jesus lived, even when it feels difficult, counter-cultural, and upside down. Your way is better than our way. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Glory to You, O Lord our God, who granted us to pass this day in peace and with blessings. O compassionate God, during this coming night, save us from sin, deliver us from evil, and guide us toward good works. Make those who believe in Your holy name worthy of the morning’s blessings and praises, keeping them in peace.

Lord our God, grant Your peace to the whole world; remove wrath and calamity from Your creation. Amen.

Holy God in Heaven,
We humbly come before You today to offer gratitude for the wisdom in the Holy Bible. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to come together as faithful Christians and study the life of our Divine Savior, Jesus Christ.

Thank You for the dedication of the generations of people who came before us to ensure that we were able to have the words found in the scriptures today.

We are grateful for the knowledge and insights provided by our leader, Father Vazken, and others in our group. Help us to ponder them alongside the words of the Bible, so that we may act as righteous followers of Christ in all circumstances.

We are humbled for everything that we learned and studied tonight. Please help us to remember this knowledge as we go about the rest of our lives.

Thank You for the wisdom and insight of the Bible.

We offer this prayer of thanks in Your Holy Name.
