8/30/2021 - Christ protect us

8/30/202 - offered by Marine Saakyan

Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today’s Bible Study session. Thank you Fr. Vazken for bringing us together every Monday. We cherish and miss those days when we met in person, where Fr. Vazken made every effort to make us feel specially Blessed with the services on occasions like Christmas, Easter, grape Blessings, when he Blessed the grapes from his own backyard, and many more beautiful services like Blessing each of us with special Murron from Edjmiatsin.

We remember everything and also appreciate the opportunity to be able to still get together every Monday for virtual Blessings, to listen and learn your words that comforts our hearts and helps us to keep our faith strong and stay in peace throughout the week. As we leave this meeting and go on with our lives, Father, give us wisdom that leads to love and faith. Help us to make wise choices for the glory of your name. Let your light shine bright in every household. Please Cover each member of this group and their loved ones with your precious blood and forgive our sins, since you are the only one without sin. Help us to continue living and walking by your word, and not by what we see. Help us turn our eyes away from worthless things, so we can focus on our Lord and savior Jesus.

One of my favorites from Nerses Shnorhali’s
Amen 🙏

8/16/2021 - I am there

8/16/2021 - offered by Anush Avejic

I Am There by James Dillet Freeman

Do you need Me?
I am there.
You cannot see Me, yet I am the light you see by.
You cannot hear Me, yet I speak through your voice.
You cannot feel Me, yet I am the power at work in your hands.
I am at work, though you do not understand My ways.
I am at work, though you do not recognize My works.
I am not strange visions. I am not mysteries.
Only in absolute stillness, beyond self, can you know Me as I am, and then but as a feeling and a faith.
Yet I am there. Yet I hear. Yet I answer.
When you need Me, I am there.
Even if you deny Me, I am there.
Even when you feel most alone, I am there.
Even in your fears, I am there.
Even in your pain, I am there.
I am there when you pray and when you do not pray.
I am in you, and you are in Me.
Only in your mind can you feel separate from Me, for only in your mind are the mists of “yours” and “mine.”
Yet only with your mind can you know Me and experience Me.
Empty your heart of empty fears.
When you get yourself out of the way, I am there.
You can of yourself do nothing, but I can do all.
And I am in all.
Though you may not see the good, good is there, for I am there.
I am there because I have to be, because I am.
Only in Me does the world have meaning; only out of Me does the world take form; only because of Me does the world go forward.
I am the law on which the movement of the stars and the growth of living cells are founded.
I am the love that is the law's fulfilling. I am assurance. I am peace. I am oneness. I am the law that you can live by. I am the love that you can cling to. I am your assurance. I am your peace. I am one with you. I am.
Though you fail to find Me, I do not fail you.
Though your faith in Me is unsure, My faith in you never wavers, because I know you, because I love you.
Beloved, I am there.

8/9/2021 - Heavenly Father, thank you

8/9/2021 - offered by Annie Kanjian

Heavenly Father

Thank you for the opportunity to come together today. We thank you for the clergy including Hayr Vazken and all teachers of faith who dedicate their lives to disseminating and explaining the Word and your eternal and gracious Love.

We thank you also for all the blessings bestowed on us from the simplest of daily necessities to the miracles, both seen and unseen, in our lives.

Please guide our daily thoughts, deeds and words so that we be shining lights of love, peace and comfort to our families and all those we come into contact with.

In our times of need, please send us the comforter so that we may more readily weather the storms – at all times remembering that periods of difficulty are opportunities to bring us closer to you, strengthening our faith.

We pray that with our fastpaced lifestyles, we remember to spend time in prayer and contemplation and, in so doing, we quieten our minds and hearts enabling us to hear you when you speak with your infinite wisdom providing us with the guidance we seek for the decisions we wish to make.

And finally, during the current times of illness and environmental disasters, we pray for protection for all peoples around the world and for the humbleness, compassion and selflessness of decision makers and leaders both in the US and abroad to bring about resolution of these problems.

Amen

8/2/2021 - Commit our soul to angel of peace

8/2/2021 offered by Laura Artinian

O! Lord of hosts, we commit our souls to the angel of peace. So that he may come and keep this tranquil and undisturbed by day and by night, while awake and while asleep. But you are the creator of light and establisher of night. And now we ask you, Lord our God, grant to our friends in the US to pass through this night’s rest in peace and arrive to their morning duty and to our friends in Australia their continued duty throughout this day, to the worship and glorification of you all Holy Trinity, now and forever unto the ages of ages. Amen.
