Angel of Peace

offered by Anush Avejic
April 16, 2026

Lord Jesus Christ, we come to You today feeling the weight of uncertainty in our world. When the future seems unclear and fear grips our hearts, we turn to You for strength and guidance.

Forgive us for trying to control outcomes in our own strength. Take away our anxiety, our worries about the future, and our questions. Guide our steps when we cannot see the road before us.

Send us your angels of peace that they may fill our days and nights with serenity and calm. Help us to convey that peace through our actions to bring change to the world around us. Help us walk by faith, not by sight, and trust that You are working all things for good, even when we cannot see it.

Strengthen our faith to trust Your timing, and use us as a light to others who are afraid. We choose to trust You, knowing You go before us into every unknown tomorrow.

Thank you for blessing us with all that we have, our families, our friends, the gifts of a home, a bed, food in our cupboards, and the support systems that help us navigate the life - and to also see the sweetness and beauty that you have provided us.

Finally, we pray for those who are caught in senseless wars and violence, especially those in Iran, Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and throughout our world. Grant wisdom to our world leaders to negotiate through conversations and to put down their weapons and work toward peace.

We ask this in your name along with the Father and Holy Spirit. Amen.

A Prayer for Health, Peace, and Love

offered by Sona Smith
March 25, 2026

Heavenly Father,
We lift up our hearts to You with hope and humility.
Bless those we love with good health—strengthen their bodies, calm their minds, and surround their spirits with peace. Shine Your healing light upon them and keep them safe in Your care.
We pray for peace in this world, that hatred may be silenced, and division replaced with understanding.

Let kindness ripple through every heart—may it begin with us.
Where there is darkness, let Your light shine brightly.
Where there is fear or confusion, let Your truth bring clarity and calm.
Guide those who are lost—show them the way back to love, to purpose, to You.
Let no one feel forgotten or alone.
Help us accept one another, just as You have accepted us.
Break down the walls of judgment and build bridges of compassion.
Teach us to love deeply, forgive freely, and walk humbly together.
We trust in Your mercy and power, Lord.
Let this world feel Your presence through our actions, our prayers, and our love towards each other.
Amen

For World Peace

offered by Maria Hamparian

October 15, 2025

Dear Heavenly Father, you created the amazing world that we live in, but human hatred and evil have destroyed the peace you intended. Countries are at war, while citizens are tormented and living in desolation. People hate who they are taught to hate. Your beautiful world is in turmoil and only you can bring the peace we need. World peace feels impossible, but nothing is impossible for you. Breathe the peace of the Holy Spirit into the hearts of world leaders. Open the eyes of lawmakers and government officials to see you in the face of others. Guide them to create laws that value human life and to see the benefit of all nations to coexist in peace. I know world peace is possible in the name of your son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

For World Peace

10/30/23 - offered by Kathy Markarian

A Prayer for World Peace (a prayer poem for peace on earth and world unity)

Dear Father of all,
Help us to see the world through your eyes, without dividing lines,
To see just land and water, mountains, trees and skies.
Help us to lay aside our class and skin, our background and race,
To know our shared humanity, to see a brother or sister in every face.
Help us to wear forgiveness, to lay down our pride and pain,
To seek first to understand, Lord may peace and reconciliation reign.
Help us to feel your compassion so we can freely forgive.
May we weave new threads of grace and cause seeds of hope to live.
Help us to play our own small part, with acts of kindness and of care.
May we arise as your children and seek out what is just and fair.
Cause us to make new bonds of trust with neighbours near and far,
And so to fashion a world where peace comes to Earth in this hour.
Amen

Christmas Prayer

12/20/21

May the joy of the angels,

the eagerness of the shepherds,

the perseverance of the wise men,

the obedience of Joseph and Mary,

and the peace of the Christ child

be yours this Christmas;

and the blessing of God almighty,

the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

be among you and remain with you always.

Amen.
