7/26/21 - Trust me

July 26, 2021 - offered by Lynn Bedrosian

Trust me and don’t be afraid. Do not be frightened by world events or news reports. These reports are biased – presented as if I do not exist. News clips show tiny bits of world events from which the most important factor has been carefully removed: My presence in the world. As journalists sift through massive amounts of information, they strain out everything about Me and what I’m accomplishing on the earth.

Whenever your world is feeling like a scary place, turn to Me and encourage yourself in My Presence. Follow the example of David, who strengthened himself in the Lord when his men were threatening to stone him. You can also find courage through remembering who I am. Ponder My awesome Glory and Power; delight in My unfailing Love. Rejoice that you are on an adventurous journey with Me and your ultimate destination is heaven. As you keep focusing on Me and enjoying the rich relationship I offer you, fear will subside and Joy will rise up within you. Trust in Me wholeheartedly, beloved, for I am your Strength and your Song.

7/19/2021 - Powerful God and Creator

7/19/2021 - offered by Susan Movsesian

Powerful God and Creator, you are the father of all people on Earth.

Guide I pray, Armenia and Artsakh, our country America and all nations and their leaders as well as each of us individually, in the ways of justice and peace.

Protect us from the evils of injustice, prejudice, conflict and deception. Open our eyes to see that we may see where evil is planted, good may also grow.
Help us to put away miss-trust, bitterness and hatred.

May we recognize the power and life flourishing value of Your transfiguration!

If my eyes are open to the enlightened one, then surely I too, can be witness to the transformation of my own deepest pains and hurt to my most elevated triumph and joy.
My strength of soul, you increased.
From our personal and our local level to all the world, as Your all powerful love transforms, I pray for all to see and feel.
Lead us all gathered here today, in this questions in faith Bible study forum to find justice, peace, and freedom through truth.

You are the way the truth and the life. You are the constant reminder that our sins are not what defines us! Your examples of love and compassion have shown us You are an all merciful and forgiving God.

This is not all on you, Lord! I trust, we, your church as a devoted intimate family and all who believe in you, vow to forgive, comfort, mourn, feed and pray where we see the need.

Grant, Lord that we may grow in harmony and friendship, as brothers and sisters created in your image. We believe where your love is, peace will follow...

To Your honor and praise always.
Amen

6/28/2021 - Depths of the Heart

6/28/2021 - offered by Marianna Muradyan

Speaking with God from the Depths of the Heart
from St. Gregory Narekatsi, 41

Son of the living God, blessed in all things,1
whose awesome birth by your Father passes
all understanding,
for whom nothing is impossible,2
before the dawning of the uneclipsed rays of the mercy of your glory
sins melt away, demons flee, transgressions are erased,
bindings are cut and chains undone.
The dead are born again, infirmities are cured,
wounds are healed, corruption is cleansed,
sadness withdraws, sighs retreat,
darkness flees, fog departs,
twilight vanishes, darkness lifts, the night passes,
alarm is banished, evil is destroyed, despair is exiled.
And your omnipotent hand rules, redeemer of all.

You who came not to destroy our mortal souls, but to give them life,3
forgive my countless wrongs with your abundant mercy.
For you alone are in heaven beyond words, and on earth beyond understanding,
in the substance of existence unto the ends of the earth,
the beginning of everything and the completion of
everything in all ways, blessed in the highest.
Glory forever to you
with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

6/21/2021 - Thank You ...

6/21/2021 - offered by Taleen Marcarian

Lord, thank you for once again bringing this wonderful Bible Study group together.
As we finish today, thank you for walking with us and Father Vazken throughout this hour.
Thank you for your love that you have revealed to us,
And for the love that we share together.

We pray for all the words and thoughts that you have sown into our hearts today.
Please watch over them and protect them so they may they take root and produce things of beauty and great blessings to many.
May we always be alert to your promptings
And live in your endless love.
May your love and grace follow each of us as we return to our daily lives, refreshed and blessed by you.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus.
Amen

6/7/2021 - Heavenly Father, be with us

6/7/2021 - offered by Dorothea Soghomonian

Dear Father in Heaven, we praise You for this gathering of your servants tonight, that You may better show and teach us Your ways of loving others and speaking Your word in our lives.

Thank you for providing this forum throughout the past year, full of trials and challenges for us all.

We ask for special blessing upon all of those who have given us help and hope, through their works and commitment to others – the medical personnel, the teachers, the volunteers in every area we can imagine – everyone who has dedicated and sacrificed in some way so that we may all survive.

We thank Fr. Vazken and his support system, for providing us the spiritual guidance throughout this time, so that we all know that You, Dear Lord, will never abandon us.

Blessed Lord, be with the souls who have departed from us in this life to go to join You in Your Kingdom. Bring peace and comfort to the families who have suffered loss and illness during this time.

Heavenly Father, be with us during this time as we now start to renew our former lives. Let us live to serve you and to spread Your promises, so that one day we shall all be a part of Your glorious Kingdom.

In Jesus’ precious name, anun Hor yev Vortvo, yev Hokvoyn Srpo. Amen.
