6/7/2021 - offered by Dorothea Soghomonian
Dear Father in Heaven, we praise You for this gathering of your servants tonight, that You may better show and teach us Your ways of loving others and speaking Your word in our lives.
Thank you for providing this forum throughout the past year, full of trials and challenges for us all.
We ask for special blessing upon all of those who have given us help and hope, through their works and commitment to others – the medical personnel, the teachers, the volunteers in every area we can imagine – everyone who has dedicated and sacrificed in some way so that we may all survive.
We thank Fr. Vazken and his support system, for providing us the spiritual guidance throughout this time, so that we all know that You, Dear Lord, will never abandon us.
Blessed Lord, be with the souls who have departed from us in this life to go to join You in Your Kingdom. Bring peace and comfort to the families who have suffered loss and illness during this time.
Heavenly Father, be with us during this time as we now start to renew our former lives. Let us live to serve you and to spread Your promises, so that one day we shall all be a part of Your glorious Kingdom.
In Jesus’ precious name, anun Hor yev Vortvo, yev Hokvoyn Srpo. Amen.
Since 1982, Fr. Vazken has held weekly Bible studies under the name "Questions in Faith." These are prayers offered by participants from our latest sessions (post-pandemic). From the depths of our hearts comes this dialogue with God.
