Dear Father,

Today, I want to focus on all the good things You have done and continue to do for me and my loved ones.

You are my healer, my protector, my rescuer, and my provider. Thank You for giving me Your strength, joy, peace, and love. I will never take for granted the simple things You have provided…a roof over my head, my good health, financial resources, and dear friends and family to love and cherish.

God, please remove any distractions or fears that may be keeping me from staying focused on You. So, when I come up against any troubles or difficulties, help me to remember how loyal and faithful You are to me.

You are enough for me and I know I can trust You to always protect me and my loved ones. Nothing is impossible for You.

You are worthy of all my praise.

Prayer for Travel

Prayer for Travel

Lord Jesus, you traveled and ventured with two disciples to Emmaus after the resurrection and you set their hearts on fire with Your grace.

Travel also with me and each of us as we ready to venture, and lift our hearts with Your presence.

I am aware, Lord, that I am a pilgrim on this earth seeking the citizenship which is in heaven.

As we ready ourselves for travel, surround us with your holy angels and keep each of us safe from seen and unseen dangers. Grant that we may carry out our specific plans and fulfill our expectations, according to Your will.

Help us each to see the beauty of creation and to comprehend the wonders and the comfort of Your truth in all things. You are the way, the truth and the life, and to you we give thanks always. Amen

Psalm 62:5-8

Protection

Lord God, I pray for Your protection
as I begin this day.
You are my hiding
place, and under Your wings I can
always find refuge.
Protect me from trouble wherever I go,
and keep evil far from me.
No matter where I am, I will look to You
as my Protector, the one who fights for me every day.
Your love and faithfulness, along with
Your goodness and mercy, surround
me daily, so I will not fear whatever

Merciful Jesus, you are my guide, the joy of my heart, the author of my hope, and the object of my love. I come seeking refreshment and peace. Show me your mercy, relieve my fears and anxieties, and grant me a quiet mind and an expectant heart, that by the assurance of your presence I may learn to abide in you, who is my Lord and my God. Amen.

Marriage

Lord Jesus Christ, by Your presence You blessed the wedding in Cana and showed us that You are the true priest of mystical pure marriage. We thank You for the day to come by where Your heavenly benediction will join our son, Sevan and future daughter, Robin, in the sacrament of marriage.

Lord, bless and enrich their marriage in love, companionship, mutual support, oneness of heart and progress in faith and life. Protect their holy wedlock from sin, evil and danger. Foster between them the spirit of understanding, the spirit of forgiveness, and the spirit of peace, that no resentment, quarrel or other problems may cause them to stumble and fall. 

Grant them to see their own faults and to not judge each other. Keep their bond of love always new. Gladden their lives with the joys of marriage, that with one heart they may praise and glorify You.
